Heh... that one was for sale a few weeks ago on ebay too. Looks like it's difficult to sell a car if all you do is talk about the things that have gone wrong :)

There was a wrecked one you could pick up in georgia for 2,800, all you needed was some front end parts and a radiator...

Had I known, I probably would have actually found a way to get that one.

maybe i should post everything i see now...
but...like people never really cared before, sorry. The carpet was all messed up, it seemed like the previous driver abused the car, so I was hesitant to put it up, and the Insight had 43 mpg lifetime on it....

3300 :(

It would make an excellent conversion to an electric vehicle if it has so many problems in internal combustion form.

This glider loaded up with 1,200 pounds of AGMs would do ~130 miles per charge at 65 mph with a DC system. Yes, it would go over GVWR a few hundred pounds, but you can always reinforce the structure.

Yes, and he is on Greenhybrid.com trolling for over a year now.

Those are some really expensive cheap cars. ;)

Ive found that guy intresting to say the least. LMAO

Over all I think he's a real TOOL. Theres more to his saga than he will ever tell or admit to. Would be intresting to speak with the dealers hes delt with or Honda its self.

I don't belive this guy, he said that he has had to pay for a new battery for the hybrid drive? Honda will not sell you a new battery, they will not even tell you what they cost, if it needs to be replaced they just replace it, or so said a dealer who suposedly sells more hybrids then any other dealer in the US.
but really, just try to buy a new battery pack from a honda dealer, they will not sell it to you.

This is especially true since Honda recently extended the warranty on the battery packs another 5 years or so.

I emailed the guy asking if i could come and inspect the car before bidding , he never responded.

Someone should put a bid on it for a million dollars to see what his reserve is then cancel the bid saying tha the wrong amount was entered.
It would be interesting to see what price he has put on it.
I would expect its set at so high an amount so that car wont sell.

I doubt that car even exists.
