Hello, right minded drivers
New here. Nursing every last drop from a too luxurious Toyota Highlander. Too many miles left in it to trade now, but eyeing a gas sipper next time around. Want to see what everyone else is driving and the experiences in the "real world."
FYI, V6 2-wheel drive, logged every last tenth of a gallon added in five years along with miles travelled. Overall avg. with daily 3.8 mile commute (one way) and annual 2000 plus mile trips with half a dozen 400 mile weekenders is actual 20.3 mpg. Vehicle's computer shows slightly over 1 mpg higher. What's up with that, Toyota? |

The fill-up method is very inaccurate, and the vehicle's computer estimates the amount of fuel injected. In the end, it evens-out. 1 mpg over 5 years is a good estimate. It's great for you to join to try to squeeze every MPG out of what you have. It's possible to hypermile any vehicle -- you just have to modify a few things. Browse the site, and feel free to ask any of us any questions you might have. Good luck! RH77 |
If you are beating the epa you are doing good. Welcome to the site. There is a few ways to gain a few MPG on the site.
