Most likely. I doubt Honda messed with the ECU connector pinouts or sensor specs or anything, so it should be plug'n'play.

Both the A01 and A00 revisions work in all years of VX Civics. I've personally ran both revisions in my 94. The pinouts are the same as far as connectors. It's just that Honda had made a revision to the 94-95 VX ECU for some unknown reason to me that required the A01 to be added. For all I know, it could be them just changing the Check byte in the coding.

I got my P07-A001 ECU delivered from the Ebay auction I won.
It cost me a total of $60. I was going to wait for the other one that expired later and had a bid price of $.99. That one ended up going for $10.50 + 20 shipping. Argh! Oh well, you can't win 'em all. The ECU had a bit of surface rust so I decided to opened up the metal box and all is good. The PCB looked shiny with no smoke damage. Whoever said the Fed ECU has two board is wrong. Just one big PCB, although there was about three sub-boards about 1in x 3in in dimension (I think that's that they were talking about). I have pics if anyone is interested in seeing the PCB. Now I'm going to buy the $79 O2 sensor and I'll be set to do the conversion (I think). Gary |
Gary, you have a lot of cars! BTW, how did the conversion go?
I'm going to give it a try this weekend. I have the diagram, the O2, and ECU. I'm going to the junk yard to pick up an extra 4-wire connector so I don't have to cut the car's harness. I'll keep you guys posted. |
