Update the Model List?

Hi, was wondering whether the site was going to get updated with newer models for the car manufacturers listed? I own a Hyundai i10 and noticed its not in the drop down list, nor are its bigger counterparts the i20 and i30. Thanks.

We rely on Fuelly members to add new vehicles to the system. If you don't see your model listed, you can choose "Hyundai" from manufacturer list and then "other" from the list of models. From there you can type in "i10" and you should be set. Here's more info: What do I do if my car or motorcycle isn't listed?

Ah right no worries that is exactly what I did do. Just when searching i10 say, no results not even my own car! Thanks.

Ah I just read the FAQ again, I noticed:

"Also, if you add a new model, be aware that it won't show up in public browsing until approved by a site administrator. It will show up in your profile, however."

This answers my question about it not showing up. Thanks ;)

"Also, if you add a new model, be aware that it won't show up in public browsing until approved by a site administrator."

When will the site administrators approve the car models? I have a Hyundai Atos. Same story: it isn't listed. I would like to compare it to other Atos's out there (if there are any), but the search function won't work if the car isn't listed. I had hoped that the administrators would have added it after 3 months...

We try to approve them once/week as they come in, but if we get a flood of new models to check out some can slip through the cracks. That must have happened here. I just approved the Atos, so it should be showing up.

Please contact us if you have a question like this. The "Contact Fuelly" link is at the bottom of every page and we're happy to look into problems or explain things.

Yay! Thanks for adding the Atos.
