Any chance of more metric/imperial hybrid options?

Would it be possible to add an option to display distances on the website in kilometres even though I want to see imperial MPG and enter odometer/trip readings in miles?

Sorry about my country's half-assed adoption of the metric system - we've had road sign distances in km since 1977, fuel has been sold in litres for as long as I can remember, but speed limits were only changed to km/h in 2005 so all cars sold prior to that (like mine) have speedos, odometers, etc. in miles and nearly everyone still uses MPG :) (though I like being able to see l/100km in the basic stats too).

Also I think "Imperial" or "Imp." would be more appropriate than "UK" in reference to gallons, as their use is not limited to the UK.

You can set whether or not you put your own data in as miles or kilometers on your vehicle itself by editing your preferences. But to answer your question, no we aren't going to add any more views to the site right now. We only have 10 reported users in Ireland out of 20,000 or more so I don't think the extra complication is worth the number of people who would end up using it.

The only place you really see distance is on individual vehicle profile pages. And in that case it's fairly easy to switch back and forth between "UK" and "Metric".
