Compliment!

ordered a pizza and the delivery guy saw my gassaver.org stick and asked if i had one of them hybrid cars! :D

I told him it was just a regular car and site was a bunch of gas saving guys that give tips and advice on saving fuel.

he drives a jeep and does local delieries so i'm sure he put alot of gas in that thing.

he said he's gonna check us out later tonight.

Only if it's Pappa Johns... otherwise, well... free pizza IS free pizza.

Pizza Hut...

I second Pizza Hut -- but believe it or not, the Freschetta frozen pizza line is actually pretty good, and it doesn't require delivery :-)

I delivered pizza this past summer with my 1991 Ford Thunderbird with a 5.0L HO engine. there was an average of 6 deliveries a night (maximum I've ever recorded was 18), so I put 15-20 miles a night on the car. Making money was easy with minimum wage + $3 per delivery run from the store + tips. I'd come out with at least $30 untaxed money every night.

Have you figured out how much more you would have made with the Metro?

I put 12,300 miles on the T-Bird in the one year I drove it (it got around 18mpg average), so that would be around $1600 savings if I drove the Geo that same distance instead. Not all that much money if we're just including the miles while delivering pizzas.

Yeah, what could you buy with $1600 in a year? ...besides a car and enough gas to take Darin ~7,850 miles. :D

I used to deliver Pizza in my VX....before I put the turbo LS in it.

It was great...I got $1.25 per delivery on top of the tips...I made a KILLING there. Then I almost got killed and changed jobs.

That car looks real nice for the price! '91 models with high mileage in my neck of the woods are priced around $2,000 :( . The T-bird was given to me when the Fiero wrecked. Real luxury cruiser with all options, but $50 gas would only get me around 300 miles.
