More need for computer help
 

I recently bought the Vista Home Basic for my laptop. Not the best but only thing my laptop can support. I finally got it installed today and used it during class. Well I get home and I turn it back on and it changed the screen resolution to the 600x800 and now it wont allow me to change the resolution. Any suggestions before I go blind.

What kind of video card do you have? If this doesn't work, some vendors like nvidia may have software that does the same thing packaged with their drivers, so that may be an option.

Agreed. I would try to reinstall/update your video drivers.
