Yes, that's pretty funny.

Wikipedia describes the Lupo: "It was introduced in 1998 to fill a gap at the bottom of the VW model range caused by the increasing size and weight of the VW Polo."

EDIT: note "Production of the Lupo ceased in 2005. It has been replaced by the VW Fox."

So the "gap" at the bottom of VW's North American lineup is now 2 models wide. :D

Sorry polo lupo mix up. Still the Polo should still get better mileage then my wagon. Was it an auto?

I'm not sure. I don't remember if it showed in the video.

I think the question here is: what would the Polo get if YOU drove it like you drive your wagon ;)

It would have to do better than 50 mpg (US).
