That long sweeper is awesome! (I'm jealous :o ) Maintaining 40-45 mph is perfect, and a hill to a stopsign -- can it get any better!

They started putting a series of stoplights and a speed restriction on my long FAS route  I may have to look at another route to take -- darn urban sprawl.

BTW, nice touch with Tom Petty! You make it look easy, man -- good work.

Yeah -- I like the one on the highway from about 6-months ago or so. That's most of the driving I do: get up to about 5+ over limit, close-in on a large vehicle, cut-it, and draft downgrade until I need the momentum to overcome the next hill or plateau.

The FAS has really improved my FE bottom line -- and on a side note for safety, I had a dog run out in front of me on a 45 MPH FAS, and I hit the brakes hard without a problem and avoided the animal (with the IGN at the IG-II position, the ABS is fully functional). Steering is light enough to avoid obstacles as well (at speed). The auto-trans whines a bit, but it's gettin' juice in there, so I'm not worried :o for now.

Can you tell me what I'm supposed to be noticing on the video? I can see your speed, and I can see the tach, but is there anything else I'm supposed to be noticing?

How do you force the autostop?
