Another Happy VX owner
 

Found one recently. One owner with 131K. Very clean.

So far getting between 37 mpg on the very low side to 55.3 for my best tank.

Have done a couple of aero mods.... slight tail and nearly parabolic nose cone/grill block.... last tank was 49 but this is a good sign as it was with a passenger in the car and half mountain driving (including a 1/2 hour stop and go uphill wait for an accident).

Awesome...good to see another VX owner. I am excited to pick mine up tomorrow down in southern NH. I've wanted one for a long time.

Added some pictures. The front nose cone has been opened up slightly (on the bottom) to keep the fan from cycling.

Did the yarn test today.... the mirror is gonna have to go :-)

Looking good there. I'm thinking of trying out a Kammback this summer. Can you elaborate on how you made yours? I'd also like to add that info to the Topic/link thread that I'll be making.
