epa estimates

i just saw this feature when looking at my vehicles. i can, and did, add the estimates to 2 of the 3 vehicles, but i am unable to add it to my primary. any reason why? also, since we don't log city hwy, and fuelly calculates avg, shouldn't the epa estimate use the avg of their two? on one of my cars, i am above on city, but way below on hwy, b/c fuelly just calculates avg.

We don't have EPA data for every model/year combination. So we just make estimates available for those vehicles that we do have in our system.

We provide all of the numbers the EPA provides: city, highway, and average. Some people know they drive more in the city vs. highway without explicitly tracking it, so it's handy to have those numbers if you want to compare with the EPA. There's no obligation to add the EPA numbers, it's there if you want to look--you can always shut it off if it's not useful for you.

nah, i like to compare the epa avg to my avg...that's really all that matters. my car not having the option is fairly common...2002 mercury sable. not a big deal. are they vehicle being updated regularly?
