More lists?

You must have a lot of data by now. It would be interesting to have some more lists or statistic - like the most fuel efficient cars (based on actual data, rather than manufacturers numbers), or which countries have the cheapest fuel, etc.

I'm sure people could think of some other interesting things to pull from the data.

Absolutely! Our standard answer when this comes up is that we don't want to turn Fuelly into a game that can be won and provide incentives for people to enter false data. (Here's more info.)

But we have been thinking about this a lot lately. Instead of a continuously updated list we might be able to do quarterly reports. Or something that doesn't provide instant feedback for people adding fuel-ups. That would make it less susceptible to gaming.

I agree with you, pb. Too much gaming attempting to skew numbers. That's one of the reasons I would like to see the last reporting date next to each vehicle when "browsing vehicles." It just makes it a little easier to dismiss those who jumped in, reported artificially high or low numbers and then left. If someone is reporting ongoing high or low mileage it would be nice to be able to easily identify and interact with them.

I also go ahead and report my mileage at more than one site to offset some of the gaming that goes on at other sites like fueleconomy.gov.

Is there a way to combine some vehicles, e.g. BMW F650, F650GS, F650CS or GL1800,GL1800A,Goldwing. As far as I know these bikes are all comparable in MPG performance.

No, we don't have a way to compare models side by side. I think that'd be a great addition to site. It's something we'll consider. For now, you'll have to go back and forth between the pages.
