Wheel Skirt Problems

I started making my wheel skirts today, but I'm having a problem. I'm using Coroplast, but I'm not sure how to keep it from touching the tire and wheel. It seems like it needs to be bowed in the middle, but I'm not sure what to use. Any suggetions?

If you have a TCS or large lumber store. Buy some metal stock even threshold metal would work to give you your bow. Do a search lots of pics showing this. I believe a Saturn was one.

Basically I used aluminum threshold. You can bend it with your hands and cut with regular snips. Its pretty simple. Kinda pricey unless you have a free pile of it.

Undo a metal clothes hanger and trim to fit?

yeah, maybe if you bend the hanger you can push it through the coroplast at the bottom edge. Are you trying to make front wheel skirts?

Rear Wheel skirts. I might just scrap the project all together. I don't want to drill holes in the van either.

Using a hanger would be easy. Just undo it, cut to length, and put a bend in it.

Front skirts would be cool but you cant becuase the wheel sticks out in turns..

does the van taper from front to back on rear wheel wells? I wouldn't want to drill either but you might find a way around it. Post some pics of the rear wheel well.

88HF I'll go take some pics now. Maybe you engineering gurus can help out.
