I rarely push the pedal all the way down and slowly accelerate to highway speed as a result of trying to keep my RPMs low. But even without high FE savings the K&N filter will pay for itself quickly in air filter replacement savings. I anticipate that over the next year it will save me anywhere from $45-60 (3 filters at $15-20/each) assuming I change filters every 15K miles. So it should pay for itself within a year. I bought K&N filter for stock housing AND recharge kit for $50 shipped. I will install next month AFTER I get Scanguage so I can properly monitor and check for any differences in FE
