Lurking for ages, finally introducing myself
 

I've been lurking the forums for a while now, good few months. Just got a car recently so I've been setting the baseline for my mileage with my driving style. Hoping to get into some aero mods and bring the mileage up, as well as help my driving style out. Currently driving an absolutely base model 1998 Cavalier and on the road toward getting a motorcycle. So far all your posts have been great reading and good inspiration, thanks guys!

Yes sir. I spent a bit of time searching for a manual transmission car around here (felt like forever). This is my first car and I hope that it's going to last quite a while for me.

Your Cavalier has a nice motor for mpg. It is a 2.2L OHV 4 cylinder. My 91 Cavalier had an earlier version of it and would get 45 mpg on the highway!

LOL same engien as my truck. lol lasts forever if taken care of. i have 137,000 miles on the factory clutch. go easy on the car and it will be easy on your wallet.
