Earthquake in Japan

I just want to make sure all our friends in Japan are doing ok after the earthquake. I hope no one has lost any loved ones.

I think everyone over here is on the East side, but Im not sure, I haven't heard of anyone in niigata. Im fine, took me a while to figure out what was going on though...

Does anyone know what was up with the second one last night (japan time 11:20)? I didn't see anything about it on the news...

Good to hear from you Ben. I don't have television, so it was only what I read on the internet. I heard from Yoshi also today, so I'm glad that you all weren't badly affected. I know you said there was a second quake did you feel a lot of tremors?

I was enjoying some hiyashi chuuka and didn't even realize that there was an earthquake until my fiance's sister came home and told me about it. Turns out that I was enjoying my meal so much that I didn't even feel the thing! Haha... weak is all I have to say about that. The damn typhoon skirted us again too. I swear, I came here wanting to experience some new natural disasters, but no luck.

Seriously though, there is a BIG earthquake (which will probably rival the Kobe one from years ago) that is overdue. My plan is to get the HELL out of this country before that one hits. Thousands are predicted to die. Anything up until that one is just practice.

Seven months to go....
