My Weird Motorcycle - (Yamaha BW200)
I purchased this from a friends uncle for $50. It didn't run when i purchased it, the carbeurator was COMPLETELY gummed up, the throttle cable was siezed, and the motor didn't like to kick over. I've fixed alll these problems, put new oil in it, and now it's a WHOLE lotta fun.
I dont' really know what kind of gas mileage it gets, since it has no speedometer/odometer. But i do know that it gets about 2 hours of hard driving per gallon, which I figure is pretty darn good. I'll be measuring gas mileage one of these days, with a simple fill, known distance drive, fill. I'm sure it will be atleast 40 mpg :p https://www.imagestation.com/picture/...9/e8a2ec4f.jpg https://www.imagestation.com/picture/...0/e8a2ec0e.jpg I made the lights work using all recycled components. The headlamp is from my Lincoln, it's High beam side burnt out, but the bike is an on-off thing anyways. The wood, bolts, and hose clamp were all found in the garage. https://www.imagestation.com/picture/...4/e889145a.jpg |
I have its roadgoing cousin, the TW200. Gets about 70 mpg.
