E85 conversion kits experience?

Hey, does anyone have positive or negative experience with any of the E85 conversion kits available? Etanizer, FlexTek etc.
What's important to me is the fuel consumption -- has it gone much higher? Did you install pulse spark plugs (Pulstar?) and/or some high performance air filter?

I have not installed a fuel tank conversion kit. I have to believe that your mileage will go down when using E85 as it contains less energy than an equivalent qty of gasoline.

We have a few multi-fuel capable vehicles in our fleet. When running E-85 we see around a %20 decrease in mileage. To be competitive E-85 must cost at least %20 less than gasoline prices, so if gas is $3.50 E-85 would have to be $2.80 or lower to make sense. Only in rare occasions have we found it worthwhile to run E-85.
