how much are you willing to pay? I'm sure a number of people on here would be willing to sell theirs if you offered them enough money, otherwise Ebay and Craigslist and local news paper ads seem to be the best bet.

2k:)

I'd be willing to pay more than the car is worth if it's still in good condition and no major mechanical problems.

Hmm, I could part with my VX for the right price. But in my mind, the right price is probably too much for anyone else, lol. :D

I would suggest trying to get one with as straight a body and paint as possible. Body work tends to be really pricely even when compared to engine work, electrical, AC, etc.

As an example, in SoCal to paint a VX that has a number of door dings at a respectable autobody shop is typically around $2.5K!! A little labor could be saved if you remove all of the lights, door locks, etc. yourself.

On a side note - Even if you don't like white cars, white tends to hold up the best over the long haul.

I would sell my vx 1995 1 owner 97k on the car all stock...perfect condition for a 1995...for $5600.00 and I would still have to think about it..

I'm also looking for one but I cant spend more than 1500 for one. I'll take one that needs some paint and bodywork. its going to be hard for me but, I'll find a VX or CX.

Unmolested! That's it...that's what I wanted, too. Instead, I bought a "molested" VX (lowered, interior painted black, etc.) and have been kicking myself eversince.

Oh well, after an engine/trans transplant, it'll be almost as good as new. Just need new seats and paint job!

MY02WRX 10-19-2007 05:03 PM

what did you pay for it???

thisisntjared 10-19-2007 06:18 PM

i have seats...

4bfox 10-19-2007 06:42 PM

I paid $3000 for it, in a weak moment. Should have bought the white VX in Albuquerque, but the A/C compressor was bad on it. Lot cheaper to fix that than what I've had to do to this little beastie....

I am looking for decent seats, if anyone has grey...would like front and rear HB seats.

MY02WRX 10-20-2007 06:31 PM

Sorry to hear that, I would have sold mine for $2300 and is unmolested, for the most part. Mechanically, its ready to go, good luck though.

4bfox 10-20-2007 06:43 PM

Story of my life....I seem to blow lots of dough on cars. Not that any of you guys would do that, right?

MY02WRX 10-20-2007 07:28 PM

haha I just paid 13,5 for a 02 wrx with low miles, but it was spotless and 150% unmolested, got to pay the big bucks for an unmolested wrx :(

After all the searching I was able to take off the plastic panel on the tailgate and push the dent two thirds of the way out! Funny how that works.
