SMS Returns Landline Error
Sending my Miles Price Gallons to 503-512-9929 on Verizon Wireless returns a message "5035129929 is a landline #. Reply Y to send all TXT messages to this # as voice messages for $0.25/msg. + std msg fee. Details @ vtext.com, TexttoLandline. I know this was working before, but it's been a while since I've used it. Has something else changed?

Sorry about this. Our SMS provider Twilio is having some problems right now. They said they'd have everything cleared up in the next 24 to 48 hours.
In the meantime there's the site and Fuelly Mobile for fuel-ups. Sorry about the hassle. |
FWIW,
AT&T is returning an error as well. |
Having the same problem, can someone post when it's fixed?

Thanks for the update. I wanted to be sure it wasn't a feature that was going away. Texting is very fast and easy, but for now I've created a shortcut to a bookmark for Fuelly Mobile on my Android phone.

We'll post here when it's working again. We got another message from Twilio yesterday afternoon saying that it would be another 24 hours. Hopefully that means things will be working again this afternoon (Pacific Time). Thanks for your patience, and sorry again about this hassle.

We got our first fuel-up via SMS today at 9:43 AM Pacific Time. And they've been slowly coming in. So service has been restored for at least a half dozen folks this morning. Hopefully we'll be back to full SMS capacity later this afternoon.

We're seeing many, many more fuel-ups come in via SMS. I think we can safely say this feature is back up. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for the updates and keeping us in the loop!

I'm on Verizon and I get this error message.
