That's hilarious :p

I noticed a somewhat insignificant drop in wattage from the kill a watt when it came to colored backgrounds - nothing worth shouting in the streets about (people still do that, right?).... Great concept though :p

Indeed. I usually just turn my screen way down though. Only uses 20 watts altogether anyway.

I wonder if Matt can change the background color of this site?
Sometimes I feel like I'm staring at a lightbulb! :squint:

Hello and thanks for giving us a mention!

We are indeed completely new. Blackle was a great idea, but hurt my eyes after a while so theGreenspider was set up to spin a greener web (or blacker, bluer, browner, greyer, pinker or redder)!

Hopefully if we get some momentum and it takes off, we will be able to make some meaningful investments in environmental projects too.

Any feedback on the website would be most welcome!

Thanks

Spiderman :-)

He'd have to edit
https://www.gassavers.org/clientscrip...2d3e-00011.css
and swap some #FFFFFF s and #000000 s around, and who knows what else.

There is probably a vbulletin option that lets the users select their own look, but it can be nightmare for the administrators when such things don't work quite right.
