I am actually back down to one now. I sold my automatic one.

Would anyone possibly be interested in buying the rims that are on this car now?

They are 13s. They came stock on some 89-91 Civics and are called "Twisted 6 spoke directional". I have a set of VX rims that I would prefer to have on.

Removed the AC the other day.

Not sure how much it all weighs but I would say 40lbs easy.

Sold the White Rex for $1200. Hopefully the new owner will become a new member of the site seeing as how he has a decal for the site on the back of the car, then again it would be real easy to scrape it off with a razor blade too.

Haha, did you try to talk him into joining?

UfoTofU 10-02-2007 12:45 PM

Yah, I mentioned it to him cause I pointed out the PCV catch can and the grill block.

He showed up in an 86 or 87 Civic and said he was getting about 40 mpg with that as his commuter car.

Has anyone figured out what kind of FE percentage can be gained by removing the AC system completely?

I pulled out my entire AC system and it has got to weight at least 40 lbs.

That really is a nice CRX to find in the northeast. My friend has two of them, and finding them without rust here is hard. Great to find one from out west.

Other than the paint and sunroof, the car looks great for the age and mileage. And you really got it for a great price.

I wouldnt worry about the engine work for it, considering those heads are quite cheap to buy if there is something very wrong with it.

Good luck!
