What speakers do you use in your Vx?

Hi,
Wondering what speakers you are using in your vx? I dont see speaker holes for rear speakers. I think im going to put a small sub in the car in time...maybe one 10 + front speakers and wish I could put some 6x9's in the rear...also anyone know where I can get a cargo cover for my hatch.
Thanks!

I have six speakers in my VX - two 5.5" in the front doors, two 5.5" in the side panels next to the rear seats and two 6.5" in a cargo cover made of high density fiberboard with a hinge in the center just like the oem cargo cover. I also have a 200 watt power amp in the cargo area that the 6.5" speakers run off of. I have no need for a subwoofer - my stereo is loud enough as it is and it needs to be a 72 mph to drown out the road noise. My aftermarket stereo head unit plays CD's and MP3/WMA on CD-R's and I have also used an ipod with a wireless FM transmitter. As the saying goes "It's all good".

FYI - Used Cargo covers in good shape can go for $100 easily. If you are handy enough, making one yourself is going to be the most cost effective.

5.5" or 6" speakers will fit in the front doors. For the rears, you can pick up some OEM speaker brackets for the back from Ebay or the junkyard.

The removable plastic panals to either side of the rear seat came in solid, or with speeker grills, then of course you have to run the wire, but they will give it that clean slick look, of course the more electrical load you have thru things like large speakers, and more so having an extra amp, the more your gas mileage will go down, I personaly have two stock size door speekers, and they are plenty to over come road noise with a reasonable volume.

Rear speakers were and option on all the Civic Hatchbacks, even the Si model. There is an OEM connector sitting in the quarter panel on each side that you can hook up to a speaker when installing them. All the wiring is there from the factory, you just need to make/fabricate a speaker holder for the rear and get/cutout the rear plastic panel for the speaker.

Read this. It shows how to remove the sides.

Then you'll need the speaker mounts. Try a junk yard or

I haven't put my ride back together, so here's what
they look like. You need the black piece that the speaker mounts in, & the silver piece. Reach all the way down in the front of the interior to find
your speaker wires.
