So my campus was invaded by hundreds of Ron Paul stickers - and signs that say "Google Ron Paul" -- because very few people know of him....

The signs are fine, they can be removed... But the stickers... Holy crap. They are permanently stuck to so many items that it's ridiculous. So much so, that I really don't care for him if his supporters represent him :thumbdown:


Okay, so it's not permanent... But it costs time, money, effort to remove them - and our school system just got hit with huge budget cuts from the new FL governor :thumbdown:

Is there a concern about a "3rd Party Candidate" taking votes away from someone that would benefit our cause: aka Gore 2000 vs. Nader?

The better example is Clinton/Bush/Perot. I would argue that the "Nader factor" in 2000 is more a media concoction than reality.

It goes both ways. If Giuliani is the GOP candidate, leaders in the Christian Right are threatening to create their own 3rd party.

Giuliani doesn't believe in the Bill of Rights. If you want to get involved with a president that will help stop subsidizing gasoline, and bring us back from Iraq immediately, end federal income tax, uphold the constitution that every politician is sworn to uphold yet constantly undermines, then Ron Paul is your candidate. Hes the only major candidate that never voted for the war. He also didn't vote for George W. either time he ran for president. There are over 900 meetups nationwide. He has no win in the Republican primaries to be elected. Get involved!!!

i'm with cfg83 and rh77. if an independent candidate takes big ticket votes and allows THE woman to get in the white house(again), God help us all!
