Data Extract

Is there an easier way to export bulk data (i.e. data for other drivers, not just me) other than writing a script that scans for folks' IDs, then pulls and parses each log? I'm interested in doing some analyses on aggregate data. I know how to write the code I'd need for batch exports, but I'd rather use that time to actually run the analyses.

I'd be happy to share the results- I'm interested in looking at differences in stats (mean, median, variances) between vehicles (at least those with large samples), MPG vs. time of year (my Jetta TDI is very temperature sensitive), etc.

No, there's no system for bulk exporting data. That sounds like an interesting experiment and all of the data here is public. I'd just ask that you take it easy on our server. If you could build in a crawl delay that would help make sure the site stays up for everyone.

Ok, when I get around to it, I'll write a script, taking care to throttle it. I can run it late-night if that would help.
