CRX HF in CA $2499
The mpg mentioned seems to be on the low side if this is indeed an HF like it says on the back (but what do sme car delaers know).
Anyways, looks pretty mint: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/car/593230712.html |

My goodness that looks mint. I'd be ashamed to mod it unless I made it 110% reversible. CarloSW2 |
From the VIN it does appear to be a HF, at least according to carfax. It's got a pretty decent history of smog, except for failing back in 3/31/07, it's passed every time.
I'm not a big fan of that particular sales group since I called once when I was looking for an extended cab Toyota for my dad, they seemed a bit shady...but who knows. Too bad it's carb'ed...I hate dealing with tuning carbs, so I prefer only efi since it's wayyy less hassle. It sure is clean and clean though...nice 1st gen for sure! |
New linky to it, old one seems dead for some reason
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/car/594662752.html Very clean looking. Wonder if 101 is interested in it? Heres another one, been riced abit though https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/car/591872836.html |
1st Gen and CA tranny means a little lower MPG. In CA probably driven well over the speed limit to get the low MPGs. Should be able to do well over 40 elsewhere. Looks like a good vehicle, may be priced a little high unless it's got REALLY low miles on the odometer.
It's got two mirrors - the HF came with only one. It's had a little work done to it. Note the fading below the bra too - I'd inspect VERY closely on this one. |
HF's did come with just one mirror but it was a dealer option so having 2 door mounted rear view mirrors doesn't mean much. My red HF that I sold had 2 mirrors and my current HF has two as well.
I almost guarantee you that HF has a ton of miles. I've called them on other cars/trucks they're selling and they don't post the miles for a reason...they're high. I agree, it would have to be a low mileage car for it to be worth that much. How's your search for your CRX coming along 101mpg? What's your budget for one? |
