City vs Highway tracking now a car setting

Tracking Driving Type % (City vs Highway) is now an optional setting available on a per car basis.

To turn off or on click on the [EDIT CAR] link at the top of the Car Details page.

When turned off:
- Doesn't show on the Add Fuel-Up page
- Doesn't show graph on Car Details page
- Doesn't show in the mini Log Book

Good change! I'm sure it is useful and of interest to some, but 99% of my driving is country lanes so I don't need it. Now I have switched it off.

Cheers

This could be very informative. Is it supposed to be an overall setting or can it refer to individual fills? I have often added notes to my fills when my driving for that period has had an unusual split between city and highway. I can certainly see the difference in MPG or L/km.

Cookie, you set the City % value on individual fuel-ups, and the graph on the page reports the average city/highway split across all fuel-ups. You also see the City % you entered in your fuel log on individual fuel-ups.

I know its optional, but it would be more useful if it were city/highway/country. I do all my driving on small country roads and don't live near a city so this is meaningless.

Sorry alanterrill, not all features are going to work for everyone. You can disable this one if you don't need it.

Digging the new stuff on the site. I am just logging all my coutry travel as highway since where I live you can pretty much just cruise backroads and only hit a stop sign or a town about every 20 miles.
