Filter Based on 'EPA Type'

Hi. Absolutely superb site and I agree with your focus on keeping the site simple and focusing on the average driver. That said ... It seems you've recently added an 'EPA Type' in the 'Edit a Car' page. Any chance of augmenting the 'Filter To:' options to include a third pick-list for 'EPA Type'?

Regards and GREAT job!

Thanks for the suggestion. We've had this feature since we launched so it's nothing new. I don't think we'll be adding any more features based on EPA type. The EPA only covers models in the US, and even then the numbers are contentious. Some people think they're useful, and some people think they're not very accurate or even misleading.

I see what you're getting at—the EPA types provide more detail about the vehicle. But not everyone chooses an EPA type, and for many people they simply aren't available. So the number of people affected by the filter would be very small.
