1st full tank thru "Marvin" in a while...

Hi folks,

Been driving my wife to work all week, so used the first full tank in Marvin in a while. Was just doing short fills, $10-20 a time. Looks like I "scored" 23.6 mpg this time... been trying real hard to keep the lead foot under control on the highway, but no real hypermile technique. Kinda glad it isn't as bad as the 18mpg average I thought I might have been getting a couple of weeks back. But also kinda bummed I couldn't get it to 25ish. Might go nuts with some aero "bandaids" this weekend. Also could use an oil change...

Damn I feel... violated... though, $65 to fill up

Edit: Oh BTW, what's the official "benchmark" the original EPA figures or the 2008 equivalent ones?? and who is using what.
