ECU question
 

I know that gm and honda have the cyl. shut off (for example a v8 will shut off fuel to 4 of the cyls) has anyone here playing with the cars computer to try this. maybeing hacking it?

A bit more goes into it than just shutting off fuel and spark to that cylinder. A valve must be closed to keep the cylinders that were turned off from leeching from the engines power as much.

Also, just killing spark and fuel to a cylinder or a few can cause a damaging imbalance in the engine.
