John, the 17 yr. mechanic/hypermiler

Hello from south central Texas. My name is John and I am 17 yrs old. I am an intermediate type mechanic I guess you could say. I, like most of you am a hypermiler, playing with the physics and chemistry involved. In the past, I have come up with several odd, yet effective ideas and techniques in order to attain higher gas mileage. I am here to spread knowledge and ideas to benefit everyone in the "war" against high gas prices and the oil companies. I'll be more than happy to help anybody

At 17 I didn't even know how many cylinders my Camaro had... I just knew it was fast, loud, and got 14 MPG.... 5 years later, it's a whole new ball game folks!

Who am I kiddin'? I'm still wet behind the ears myself......
