spark plug wires

I have a 1996 Geo prizm. I want a very good set of plug wires. What do you guys recommend? I would like solid core wires. I don't care about audio interference, I don't listen to the radio anyway. Thanks.

I always recommend OEM wires if at all possible. I even have OEM wires in my 1981 Buick. Stop by your local GM dealer and see if they can order them for you. Aftermarket wires can vary greatly in quality and price. If you do end up with aftermarket wires I was always pleased with Niehoff wires in my old 74 Chevy. The quality was just as good as OEM and they were reasonably priced. I think Niehoff has changed names though... Not sure what they're calling themselves now.

isn't ACdelco OEM for general motors products? you could just get those from autozone or advacned or wherever. may be cheaper than going to a dealership.

AC Delco is OEM for GM. I usually bought from the dealer because my dealer gave me a discount on parts. The dealer's parts prices were already pretty reasonable, and the guy at the counter got used to seeing me in there. He reckoned that if I was going to come into his dealership for parts for cars 15 - 30 years old I deserved to be a discount customer. He put me in the system as a customer with a 20% discount. Especially after he did that dealer parts were cheaper than aftermarket parts at the other stores. Unfortunately that dealership has since changed hands and last time I was in there my discount no longer showed in the computer system... :(
