What is City vs. Highway Tracking?

Some people find it useful to track how much driving they did in a city vs. on a highway. City driving is usually at lower speeds in heavier traffic with lots of stopping and starting. Highway driving is usually at a constant speed with very few stops. Tracking the difference can help you remember why your fuel economy changes between fuel-ups. If you have City vs. Highway tracking enabled for your vehicle, you can estimate how much city driving you did since the last fuel-up and include that number when you add a new fuel-up. Your total city/highway split across all fuel-ups will be included on your vehicle profile page as a pie chart. City Highway Chart If you don't find this type of tracking useful, you can disable it in your vehicle preferences.
