My Bike. Shiny. Red. Lovely.
RIP Giovanni, October 11, 2011. Totalled on a curve, coming home at 10:30 at night. Blinded by oncoming cars, too late and too unskilled to hold the road. Ended up in a cornfield, flipped myself over the handlebars, taking out the right mirror with my arm and landing on my head. Goodbye brand new helmet. Damage to me, one broken right arm, one cracked right shoulder blade, one mild concussion, severe blow to pride and confidence.
One hell of a first motorcycle, and I will miss him. Ciao, Giovanni. Eri una moto meravigliosa.
