Most people don't know cold, winter temperatures causes air to contact, lowering the pressure and increasing rolling resistance in your tires. Some sources claim a 1 pound decrease for every 10 degree(F) drop in air temp. Maintain extra vigilance in winter in monitoring tire pressures.
