Replaced rear pads and sensor. Replaced the valve cover gasket for a small oil leak, leaking onto the exhaust heat shields. also replaced all 15 bolt grommets. still needs new cabin filter, fixed both mud flaps on passenger side. Will need to fix the rear left side license plate light before inspection. Tire wear looked good. inside the head looked very clean, cams lobes looked smooth.

changed the oil 96k, needs new cabin filter, and to top off the coolant. ordered new rear tires old ones are bald in the center.

plate and title transfered and passed emissions. inspection failed because of tire wear. which is BS but had hill city service do another alignment. they had done one already at 78000 and still charged me. found out bmw does a thrust alignment with weight in the car but they want 180 to do an alignment. discount tire sent me 2 new tires free thou. no complaints there. got moulding piece to swap out the front license plate thing and new shifter bushing kit from ecs tuning, that need installed. also license plate lights are not working. one was corroded enough to break the metal tab off for the bulb. gotta fix that too.

Been in the 20's lately and the temp gauge is not sitting in the middle like it should and on some down hills i can watch it go into the blue. so the Tstat is stuck open, replaced that yesterday. This would also explain the higher fuel comsumption. but it also has been sitting idling a lot lately. replaced the oil filter housing gasket as well, very small oil leak in the typical spot behind the OFH. Replaced the belts. The tensioner pulley was a tad noisy called around to replace it but no one had one in stock, so just sprayed some grease in the pulley. may try to replace it next time i working in that area. alternator also had some bearing noise when spinning it, more than the tensioner pulley, but not gonna replace the it just for noise. Filled rad with zerex g05 and distilled water.

Changed tranny fluid with Pentosin MTF2 75W-80, 20 bucks a quart. changed rear differential with Redline 75W-90. replaced Fuel filter/regulator with new Mahle. replace lower intake tube and air filter. belts and oil filter housing gasket next. needs gear shifter bushings replaced and troubleshooting code P0174 for bank2 running lean. couldn't find a vacuum leak, resealed the disa valve to make sure. waiting for code

oil changed at 74,515. 5w30. topped off coolant with distilled water. air filter looked ok. need to do an inspection soon, needs rear tires and front lca bushings, per bmw.
