Removed stock wires, plugs, distributor rotor and cap with 199828 miles on them. They were covered in a heavy soot and were scored from overuse. Installed all the above brand new ac delco as well as a standard air filter and removed the old clogged KN' filter Truck was idled for 5 minutes after all installed and prior to test drive, 1997 5.7 c1500 runs MUCH better idle is smoother and foot to the floor provides excellent movement, it burned out which it couldn't do beforehand . Will replace fuel filter, oil, oil filter, rear differential oil, rear differential gasket and wash in near future. Will not fill up fully till these next repairs are made
