Bad week. Tried driving with the handbrake on to see what effect it had. Conclusion: not good. Plus I hit a deer in Wetwang and didn't realise for a couple if days, so the entrails caught in my radiator were causing extra drag.

Big weekend, a couple of us left London Friday night and drove to Barca to meet a mate for a pint on Saturday night. Got home late Sunday. Quality night, great weekend. Got a good MPG out of her, the continental European air positively effects the filters, and the toll roads have an effect due to their smoothness. Got a solar panel fitted by a friend of a friend in Andorra, works like a dream. Bring on the summer!!

Great economy on a run down to Bristol in under 4 hours in my super Porsche lookalike!!! Outrun a speed camera on the back roads around Oxford .... tip of the day - take out the parcel shelf on long runs, adds about 1.2MPG
