2 year warranty, Duralast 36R -DL same battery as the last one. just missed the warranty period. They carry a gold version that has 5 year warranty (3 year replacement, 2 year pro rated) for $159 but they were out of stock.

Asked about burning smell, they said looks like I ran over some plastic that was melted to the exhaust pipe, the tech knocked most of it off so no big deal, that was the reason for the smell The clicking noise when turning is from a torn boot on the left Axle that is leaking grease. Quicklane said it might be cheaper to get after market axle installed, he estimated it would be about $400. I checked precision tune from when they replaced right axle and it was about $300. So i will just have them do it next time. They found a bunch of yarn in my engine filter and also evidence of critters chewing through the cabin air filter. They were both dirty so I replaced them. Ford Pass no longer has deals with oil changes (5 paid earn 1 free) instead they converted those to points so everything is on a point basis now with Ford Rewards I had about 2950 which equated to $15. They match tire costs so may be worth getting tires here next time as they dont charge to rotate.

Took in in to check brakes, they are fine. They recommended transmission fluid change and fuel system clean each are about $200. I had the fuel cleaned 2.5 years ago at precision tune around 75,000 miles. The mechanic recommended it every 30-60k, since the car is running rough I opted to just get the fuel system cleaned.

Duralast 650 cold cranking amps Replaced a motor craft from 2014 (which it appears that one replaced another motor craft because I used a $50 warranty credit) that battery would not have been under warranty anyway. 36R-DL Duralast has a 24 month free replacement warranty
