Replaced soft top over wknd. New top looks fantastic. Makes the whole car look brand new and is much quieter.

Tore out most of the interior and trunk. New top going in over the long weekend. Taking a lot of time to clean the interior pieces while they're out. Also found that some mice were stockpiling dog food in the airbox. So I cleaned that out as well. Upstream of the filter fortunately.

Diff fluid change. 75w-140 Redline full syn. Old stuff looked fine when it came out though.

Oil change, 5500mi on this 5w-40, and it only ate about 1 quart. Castrol Syntec 10w-40 and OEM filter. Bought a quart of Redline 75w-140 full syn for the diff but didn't have the 23mm and 24mm sockets needed for the drain plugs.

Changed coolant and cleaned idle air control valve while the motor was dry. Honda OEM type 2 coolant. Old coolant looked fine, but it was a pain to bleed. They must give it a 120k service interval so they don't have to provide proper bleed valves. Cleaning iacv increased idle speed slightly and generally smoothed out the idle a bit. Still it's not quite perfect though.

I filled up four times with 0% ethanol recently. For those four tanks: 1263.3 miles; 31.7 mpg; 12.8 cents/mile; $4.399/gal Total average so far: 29.1 mpg; 13.8 cents/mile; $4.01/gal. This was purely ~70mph highway driving, where my normal commute is more like 55mph highway driving. This Honda doesn't appear to like ethanol, but the same has not been my experience with my other cars.

Trans fluid change, Honda MTF. Also added about 1/2 quart of oil. Half quart over 2400 miles is not so bad. 2400 miles in the past 27 days IS bad.

Oil change 170 miles into tank. Motor ate 3 quarts of Mobil1 10w-30 in about 5500 miles, so switching to a thicker 5w-40 Shell Rotella T6 full syn.
