Mercedes replaced most of exhaust per the class action settlement. They had to put my off old exhaust back on first which is why I got charged $1600. But I got a $3600 check to do it.

Got replacement fuel pump under warranty from eBay seller and had brads install. It worked but when I was leaving his shop to go to soccer, I noticed the A/C didn’t work

Drove Kitzie and kids to Bellevue to see how it ran on interstate after fuel filter and pump fix. It did fine on power, but tire balance was bad. Took to Dickson Car Care (Goodyear) for rotation and balance. They found a screw in passenger rear tire, which explains why in put fix a flat in it a while back. They balanced all 4 at interstate rpm and patched the hole from the screw. That tire is now on passenger front.

Ordered fuel filter from Amazon after the fuel pumps were installed. Took car to Carls in the meantime thinking transmission issue. Carls put the new filter in and all worked great. $74 labor + $50 for fuel filter off Amazon. I hope it wasn’t just the fuel filter the whole time and I changed the fuel pumps for nothing

Fuel pump replaced on 1/14/22 but didn’t fix problem. So I learned there is another smaller pump (fuel sending unit) and bought it on eBay for $182. Then took it back to Dickson Auto repair to have it installed. The car ran much better after it was done when I drove it. They thought it was if go better also but they said transmission did have some issues at high throttle and to have Fairview transmission look at it.

Oil light came on when I was test driving car around Dickson to see if fuel pump issues had gone away. Only had 2.5 qts of oil available so I added all of it. Added the other 1.5 qts on 2/7 It’s only been 586 mi since last time 4 qts was added

Mercedes ran out of gas on flat part of hwy 47 in burns even though it said 50+ miles left. Chris and I ran to shell and put about 10 gal in it and finally got it to start up. It has been running mostly ok ever since but Kitzie says it does struggle to maintain power on hills every now and then. I’m going to order a fuel pump just in case

Kitzie put 4 qts in but didn’t log the mileage or date. she remembers it being between the fillup on 9/9 and the one on 9/25. So roughly 900 miles since last oil top off

Rear passenger tire has a slow leak. I filled up a few weeks ago then Kitzie had to fill up again today. I added a can of sealant to it tonight and pressured it up to 33psi *update 9/27/21 - have had no issues with it thus far and added no air*

Took to Brads on 6/20/21. He checked wheel bearings on all 4 wheels and they felt fine. He checked rear differential and other stuff. He took the speed sensors I provided and installed those and issues went away. He changed oil and filter. He said a rebuilt turbo on these Mercedes and sprinter vans isn’t too expensive, maybe $750-900. He said if turbo seals get real bad, the smoke will be great and oil will literally pour out of tailpipe.

ABS and another light came on again like May 2020. Assume this is same issue except maybe with right rear side sensor; I went ahead and ordered a set of all 4 spd sensors on Amazon for $32 while at lake house for Memorial Day. It was delivered Monday afternoon and I installed in 15 minutes after I got my tools and car jacked up
