Evie is my first car. The idea is that I got myself a larger vehicle with decent power, reasonable handling and definitely enough for me to get my fill for driving while getting used to the roads. Why an estate for a first car? Simple, I want a car that's ever-practical and that I can take large items in, which I very often do.
Fitted with a "Mini 0801" Dashcam that runs when her electrics are on will protect me against the worse drivers on the road and catch the odd funny moment. I try my hardest to keep the MPG on the clock above 36 and I usually keep it around 38/39 which is great for me. With a full tank on highway, the highest I've got is 56.8mpg on a 300 odd mile drive in October.
In January 2016, I part exchanged the Laguna for a BMW E46 318i as I was after something more powerful, nicer inside and better looking.
