My first car... 98 SL2 passed away On June 26, 2013. Had a little over 190k miles.
Driving on the highway, the people in front of me slammed on their brakes and I the same to avoid causing a wreck. At that same moment when I was also switching lanes I hit a bump and the tires lost traction(It had just rained). Crossed three lanes of traffic and slid right into a light pole. Got out of the car with only minor cuts to my right hand and shaken nerves. Very sad way for it to go, I was hoping to make it last for a very long time but i guess it is what it is.
