This was my first Subaru.
The reason why I will always love Subarus!
It drove me from CA to Mo, to Key Largo, back to CA, back to Mo, back to CA...many times.
I got it for $600 from an auction in 1996.
It was the BEST car ever!
When it was killed by an uninsured driver as it sat, parked on San Fernando Road in Glendale, waitin for me to return from my backpacking trip on the Na Pali Coast, it was still getting 39 mpg!!!
It was 3 cyclinders of raw paower! ; )
No one had ever seen a little lawnmover rock hills, and off-raod trails like this car!
