Changed timing belt, serpentine belt, and thermostat. Replaced OEM harmonic balancer with FluidAmpr and 2Micron timing belt cover. Coolant flushed.

Changed Fuel Filter Second fuel filter change today with the 2Micron kits on(25K miles). Simply loosened the nut on the steel line that attaches to the bracket which permits easy removal of the OEM filter (MANN PU/936 1/X. Luckily, clean filter and canister. Removed fuel, and wiped out canister. Blew out the canister to remove any debris. Re-installed OEM cover and re-tightened line nut. Primed the fuel lines/filter canister using VCDS. MPG: 39.00 Current soot load: Group 241 - Field 1 Soot Load(g) - Calculated 4.5 Group 241 - Field 2 Soot Load(g) - Measured 0.0 24 September 2013 my Oil Ash Volume jumper from 39 to 48ml last month at 56k miles. 25 May 2014 Went from 48ml to 60ml at approximately 68635 miles...so took around 12500 miles for the additional 12ml. 21 Dec 2014. Jumped to 69ml at approximately 78719 miles at the start of a cross country road trip. Took 10 k miles this time. About half of the those miles were very short trips 30 Jan 2015. Jumped to 78ml at approximately 87411. This took about 8700 miles. Most of which were highway miles from the round trip coast to coast trip. Very cold temps.

Repaired interior passenger door handle release. Popped off after being rear-ended two years ago. At same time replaced passenger side puddle light LED module that was purchased from bold-sport as a "back-up".

Blower motor resistor. Positions 1-3 are governed by the resistor network. Bad thermal fuse and probable internal burnt resistor. Incorrect resistance readings among the pins with the open fuse shorted across.

DieselGeek P2015 intake manifold fix. 4 Feb 2015, Finally installed by removing the motor, as Jim recommends. I have the 1st version. No issues. Watch his video. Came in handy when reinstalling the spring correctly. Also, has a good recommendation to slightly crimp the end of the spring so it remains on the motor arm. Read voltage after starting and reads exactly 0.760 volts, as expected! The other values are. Slightly different than the before values. Mileage 87474 -2.4 % Lambda 0.8 % Lambda 01000101 Bin. Bits These were before measurements taken in December 2014 Address 01: Engine (03L 906 019 CL) 14:50:33 Group 121 -3.2 % Lambda 4.7 % Lambda 00000100 Bin. Bits 0.608 V Voltage Friday,19,December,2014,15:06:07:27850 VCDS -- Windows Based VAG/VAS Emulator VCDS Version: 14.10.0.0 (x64) Data version: 20141022 Mileage: 81714 Now curious to see if my fuel MPG increases. Actually had a no start last week that had all the symptoms of water in the intercooler. First time but not surprised since the car is now on the east coast in subfreezing weather. Never had an issue in the deserts of SoCal .
