Car was making an intermittent buzz coming from the firewall/dash. Buzz would happen worst at 1800-2000 rpm, but sometimes at 1300 rpms, too. Bob at Commonwealth VW adjusted A/C lines and other things, and the buzz seems to have disappeared.

Toe was off on both sides. Toed in. They aligned everything, but the passenger front has 1.25deg of negative camber that is out of spec. Ed, the tech, said that it is likely that the strut or knuckle are bet (or both). He said the control arms are very strong and he never sees them bent.

Sauder Motors paid the $500 for this. I first got a check engine light, and then an Adblue 600mi warning. Keith scanned it and found a code for AdBlue heater, exhaust flap, and a bus memory error. Commonwealth VW investigated and found it was leaking water due to sunroof drains being clogged. This put water on connectors in the driver foot well behind the trim near the hood release causing the issues (corrosion, etc). Bob, the tech and shop foreman, cut the spider flaps off all four drains, and cleared out the clogs of mid and debris, and also cleaned the corrosion off the connectors. Cleared the CEL. Sauder paid $500.

Westford BP. Car got rejected because computers weren’t ready. Have 60 days to reinspect. Computers weren’t ready because Sauder replaced the battery, which reset the computers.

Bought from Tire Rack for $575.55. Shipped to Sauder Motors, who installed them, and gave me $180 credit back in the form of a check, hence the price in this entry of $395.55.
