Purchased gas for $48.00 @ $3.699, 12.97 gals. MPG increased by 1.7 mpg; this is due to setting the cruise control at 60/65 on the way home. Morning commutes are different because I'm behind and my speed is usually 80 - 90.

I did not like the original front brakes; they sucked! I ordered Sporttech cross drilled rotors and brake pads. It took me about 1 hour to replace the brakes. I ordered Goodridge Stainless Steel brake lines for front and rear brakes. I spent $400 for the rotors, pads and SS brake lines. Now when the brakes are applied the Jetta stops and I anticipate that the little bit of sponginess I feel in the brake pedal will disappear completely when the SS brake lines are installed.
