Unrestored "Oily Rag" '58 Wolseley 6/90 - one of 25 surviving UK cars and 113 in the world, the 6/90 was the archetypal Police car in British Film Noir, B-movies & TV crime shows through the 1950s & early '60s. Originally scrapped 1987, rescued from junkyard & spent next 25 years sitting in various storage sheds & yards. In 2012 the car, by then partly stripped & deteriorated, was subject to aggressive & pragmatic "last chance" re-commissioning which was fully documented on TomsJunkyard Youtube Channel. Since then the car has covered over 28,000 miles (more than once around the world) and continues to be driven regularly.
