Obama's Second Term
Seems to me the election of Barack Hussein Obama
to a second term as President of The United States of America is strong evidence that having control of the peoples sources of knowledge and information is a tremendous advantage. |
what I see is an awful lot of people didn't want him to be President and if it wasn't for the screwy electorial college there would be a recount!

I don't understand why we keep using the electoral college system. It seems like popular vote would be more fair to everyone.

In fact glance at Red/Blue map. Without the Electoral College the red part would never have any representation. |
Shatto- maybe we are talking about two different issues here- but my view is one person one vote for the presidential election. So, without the electoral college, all the individuals who voted red (or blue) would count as a red (or blue) vote in the final tally of millions of votes that decided the winner. With the electoral college system, it is possible for the winner to get a minority of the popular vote.
