Maybe they need to recruit more and good Android developers. Or more money... Who knows?
The thing is there are a lot of other apps capable of deliver faster and apparently with less money.

Now I'm willing to import all my data from GoogleDocs into aCar but I'm afraid about its future and new features to come in this app, ending in loss of time. If we had more updates and more news about the merge, maybe the things for the coming people could be easier.

Hey Devs;

If we all start plugging data into the aCar Droid, will the new release pull the information from the current version then upload it to Fuelly, or are we going to be looking at doing an export then import?

Is the software going to be two-way data sharing? Right now you're working on getting the phone to push data to your databases, but, will I be able to enter fuel updates on a PC browser, then eventually have an update pushed to my phone? I've got a couple of applications I've written that use push updates (Via notifymyandroid.com and my self written home calendar) and I get responses on my phone usually pretty quickly.

We've been focusing our resources on Gas Cubby's integration for the time being. It required the most work so that's why progress has been slow.

I recently switched from Gas Cubby (iOS) to aCar (Droid). I it is killing me not being able to import two years across 4 vehicles onto my new device. Odd how aCar has an icon to import Gas Cubby data from an iOS platform. I am considering manual input of old data at this point, or just keeping a paper copy of the old stuff and working forward with aCar.

Gas cubby export to CSV- https://www.fuelly.com/gascubby/suppo.../gcexport.html
Then save the CSV file to the /zonewalker-acar directory on your device and run the import in aCar to display the data.

As mentioned above, we've been focusing our resources on the the iOS app since it required much more backend work. Thankfully aCar was built so well, we're using it as a model for future updates. Once we work out all the bugs in the iOS (Gas Cubby) to Fuelly migration, it'll be relatively easy to get aCar all set up as well.

Once we have online sync set up you'll be able to sync your aCar data directly to Fuelly.com and vise versa.

any news on an android app

Nothing new to report just yet.

I read the post just above this one, and being an extremely laid back guy (To the point of... "Whaddya mean someone keyed my new car? Meh... It'll buff") I'm really looking forward and can't wait to have the auto-update from aCar to Fuelly done. Two-way sync would be epic, but I'd be satisfied with one-way.

I've purchased a couple of fuel tracking apps for my phones over the years, but I really do like aCar the best, which is why I bought it 20 minutes after I downloaded the demo/free version. I caught on to it because of the announcement by Fuelly. So, I'm in line, with my hand up, waiting to be picked to be a beta tester for the integration of aCar and Fuelly. :]

Thanks for the support! We have Armond working on aCar, preparing it to line up with Fuelly.com, and vice-versa.

As soon as Gas Cubby is wrapped up, we'll begin testing aCar's update.

It's been how long now since you guys bought aCar? You're basically letting it wither on the vine - it's woefully out of date, and needs integration with Fuelly pretty seriously.

Ideally you would also integrate bluetooth OBD ELM327 support but I'm sure at this rate, we'd all be happy just to have two-way non-manual sync with Fuelly.com.

Fuelly bought aCar a year ago, they bought Gas Cubby a year and a half ago. Prior to being purchased Gas Cubby was untouched for 2 years, since Fuelly took over there have been 3 updates, 1 to get it to work with iOS 8 and the other 2 to fix iOS related issues. Fuelly has being talking about Gas Cubby beta testing for over 6 months, most of their work for Gas Cubby has been to integrate it with Fuelly. If it's ever done aCar integration should be quick and easy.
